Mission Statement
The purpose of the United Optometrists Association is to solve inequality within the profession of optometry.
Objectives

To educate optometrists and optometry students about systemic inequality.

To research and cultivate solutions to inequality.

To organize and mobilize optometrists and optometry students.

To fight inequality by raising awareness within the profession, recommending actions and best practices for employers and employees, and training UOA members to act in the interest of equality.
